There was a time when the tie was simply part of many dress codes. Today, that has changed. In most situations, you no longer have to wear one — you make a conscious choice to do so.
And that choice may be exactly what makes the tie more interesting today than ever before.
Because there is no single tie for every occasion.
What works in the office in the morning is not necessarily what we would wear at the weekend. An aperitivo calls for something different from a formal evening. And sometimes it is not the dress code that decides what we wear, but simply the moment.
That is where The Dress Code Collection began.
Seven designs. Seven different moments. Each tie represents an occasion, a mood or a particular part of the day.
Not as a fixed rule, but as an idea of how versatile classic menswear can be today.
UFFICIO
Everyday life. The office. The meeting.
UFFICIO is a tie for days when you want to be properly dressed without looking overdressed. The navy floral design is classic enough for a business setting, but carries more character than a plain tie.
A tie that works in the morning and still feels right after the final meeting of the day.
FINE SETTIMANA
The weekend can be more relaxed.
FINE SETTIMANA combines a quiet taupe ground with a floral pattern and is deliberately softer in character.
For lunch, a Saturday in the city or a jacket-and-trouser look where the tie should not feel like businesswear.
APERITIVO
To us, aperitivo is one of those moments that does not really need an occasion.
You dress well, meet friends, sit somewhere outside and order the first drink of the evening.
APERITIVO captures exactly that mood. A classic blue medallion design that feels elegant without becoming too formal.
CIRCOLO
CIRCOLO stands for the club, the circle, the people you enjoy spending time with.
The brown floral design is one of the warmer ties in the collection and works particularly well with natural tones, flannel, tweed or a classic navy jacket.
A tie for looks that do not need to appear perfect, but are still chosen with intent.
OCCASIONE
There are occasions when you spend a little longer in front of the wardrobe.
A wedding. A special dinner. An invitation. A moment when you want to wear something different from the everyday.
That is what OCCASIONE represents.
Lilla Antico brings colour into the collection while its muted tone keeps it elegant and easy to combine.
TAPPETO ROSSO
Some evenings can call for a little more.
TAPPETO ROSSO is our interpretation of a tie for a more special appearance. The burgundy medallion design feels classic, rich and present without becoming loud.
Not necessarily for the red carpet.
But for an evening that is allowed to feel like one.
MEZZOGIORNO
Midday. Sun. Italy.
MEZZOGIORNO is probably the design in the collection that expresses the Mediterranean feeling most directly.
The yellow palette brings warmth to a look and works particularly well when classic menswear is allowed to feel a little lighter.
With a light-coloured suit, a navy blazer or simply a white shirt, the tie develops a character of its own.
Seven ties. Seven occasions.
The Dress Code Collection is not intended as a set of rules telling you which tie to wear and when.
Quite the opposite.
In the past, the dress code often said: you wear a tie.
Today, you say: I want to wear one.
That is what this collection is about.
The tie can be part of everyday life. Part of an evening. Part of a weekend or a special moment.
Not because you have to wear it.
Because you consciously choose to.
